Ingredients:
- 5 tbls. butter
- 1 1/2 lbs. mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. lemon juice or to taste
- 2 tbl. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. thyme salt and pepper
- 3 defrosted puff pastry sheets rolled out
- egg beaten with water
Directions:
Saute mushrooms and onions in butter until all juice evaporates. Mix in lemon juice, flour and thyme. Stir 2 min. Add salt and pepper. Cool. Spread over pastry - roll up each side from short sides. Cover and chill until firm, at least 1 hour . Can be frozen at this point. Slice 1 - 1 1/2 in. thick and brush with egg. Bake at 400 about 20 min. or until golden brown. Serve hot.
