Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 c. frozen raspberries
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions:
Combine crumbs, butter and 2 tbl. sugar, mix well. Press into bottom of 9x9 in. pan. Beat egg whites till soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating till peaks form. Swirl meringue over crumb crust. Bake in slow 325 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. Cool. Place berries over meringue, refrigerate for 1 hour. Whip cream and sweeten, spread over top of berries. Cut in squares and serve
