Ingredients:
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- pinch salt
- 2 eggs
- 24 halves pitted purple plums
- sugar
- lemon juice
- cinnamon
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, baking powder, salt and eggs. Beat well. Spoon batter into 9 in. springform pan. Place plum halves skin side up on top of batter. Sprinkle with sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove and cool. Freeze if desired.
